Blueberry Pie

Ingredients
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package double-crust pie pastry, thawed
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Place an oven rack on the lowest rack and heat the oven up to 375 F (190 C).
- Combine sugar, corn starch, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and top with blueberries.
- In a large bowl, line one pie dish with a pie crust. Place the berry mixture in the crust and spread with butter. Cut the remaining pastry into strips 1/2 to 1/4 inch wide. Use the strips to form a lattice. Crimp and fluff the edges.
- Place the pie on the lowest rack in the oven until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden-brown, about 50 minutes.
