Ingredients
  

  • ¾  cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons  cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon  ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package double-crust pie pastry, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions
 

  • Place an oven rack on the lowest rack and heat the oven up to 375 F (190 C).
  • Combine sugar, corn starch, cinnamon and salt in a bowl and top with blueberries.
  • In a large bowl, line one pie dish with a pie crust. Place the berry mixture in the crust and spread with butter.
    Cut the remaining pastry into strips 1/2 to 1/4 inch wide.
    Use the strips to form a lattice.
    Crimp and fluff the edges.
  • Place the pie on the lowest rack in the oven until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden-brown, about 50 minutes.
