  • 1/3 cup gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet rice wine (mirin)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons sodium-reduced soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 11/2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 teaspoons thinly bias-sliced green onions
  • 6 cups cooked rice

  • 1: All you have to do is gather all the ingredients.

    Goochujang
    Soy sauce
    Sweet rice wine
    Honey
    Garlic
    Sesame oil
    Ginger
  • 3: In a medium-sized wok or a large cast iron pan, heat the oil to medium-high. Add half the chicken pieces to the pan; cook and toss over medium heat until the chicken isn’t pink anymore (about 5 minutes).
  • 4: Take the chicken out of the pan. Do the same with the rest of the chicken. Put all cooked chicken back in the pan.
  • 5 : Add the sauce to the wok and cook until thickened and bubbly (about 3 minutes).
  • 6 : Add Sesame Seeds and Green Onion. Serve with rice.
