Ingredients
  

  • Large pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 small white onion, very finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 8 slices  slices American cheese
  • Yellow American mustard
  • 4 soft burger buns
  • 2 sliced pickles

Instructions
 

  • Combine the chopped onion, vinegar and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
  • In a second bowl, combine your ground beef with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper. Stir well.
  • On your counter, spread a large sheet of baking paper on top of the meat. Tip the meat onto the baking paper and top with another equally sized sheet of baking paper. Roll out the beef with a rolling pin until it’s about 1/8 inches thick. Remove the top sheet of paper. Cut 8 patties with a large mug or a large cookie cutter and set aside.
  • Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add your burgers to the pan when it’s smoking hot. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and top each burger with a small slice of cheese.
  • Transfer the hamburgers to a plate and place the burger buns on the plate, side-by-side, in the pan until lightly toasted.
  • Take off the bun, top with your burger, drizzle with ketchup, drizzle with mustard, and top with a drizzle of your pickle and a few slices of your green pickle.
